This project transformed the home to meet the needs of a growing family, creating a generous family kitchen and living space to the front of the property, alongside a new second bedroom/nursery and compact private office within the mezzanine.
The design focused not only on creating additional space, but on making better use of the existing home. Conservation and sustainability were central to the approach, with careful consideration given to the property’s existing character and how it could be retained and safeguarded for the future.
The existing mezzanine was thoughtfully adapted to address previous alterations, improving the functionality of the space while respecting the character of the property.
A considered approach to creating a home that works for today, while safeguarding its character for tomorrow.
