B-Listed Tenement Refurb

    Full flat renovation of a 1st floor, B-Listed Tenement apartment in the leafy West End of Glasgow.

    The existing layout didn’t provide the necessary facilities for this growing family, so we worked to create an office and additional shower room while maintaining the original features of the property. A new kitchen and timber flooring throughout bring a touch of Scots-Scandi to the property with clean lines and high quality natural materials.


    Tenements with their lofty ceilings and draughty windows can often be cold in the Winter months, costing money to heat and burning carbon. To counter this we took the opportunity of the works to install new, double-glazed, timber sash and case windows and install breathable insulation to the window cheeks to stop draughts and cold-bridging at this crucial area. By carefully selecting materials and considered details, we were able to create a warm space while ensuring the original stone walls are protected and will last for many more decades to come.
